Trading Desk Operations (Python) - Boutique Hedge Fund - £100k base + 50-100% bonus - WFH

A boutique, large AUM Hedge Fund, achieving record performance in their space, are going through a strong period of expansion, making newly created hires across the business each quarter, such as their first ‘Operations Developer’.Working closely with the HOO, COO and Investment team, the project SME will be focused on automation / process improvement / efficiency projects for the operations / middle office function. Whilst work isn’t hands-on, the hire should be prepared to take on manual tasks within this function to make the most relevant improvements to the system. The nature of the role will expose the hire heavily to the PM team (including CIO) and traders. This is a highly visible, autonomous role in which the hire will regularly use his / her own initiative.Candidates should have 2-5yrs experience in either a technology role supporting an Operations / MO function, or in a highly technical operations / MO role. Python skills and excellent academics are a pre requisite.The role will offer the hire a minimum +20% increase on his/her current base salary up £100k. Other members of wider non-investment team earn 50%+ bonuses, up to 100% for star performers.It is possible to WFH for 1-2 days per week in this role.
