You will be challenged to develop your financial, analytical and commercial skills working alongside, and gaining knowledge from, our experienced teams of commodity traders and business experts. You will be encouraged to contribute to the growth of our business and take on a range of challenges.We are looking for a highly analytical, confident, agile thinker with strong numerical ability, and a genuine interest in finance and the commodity markets. In particular, we are in search of someone with the ability to be proactive and self-directed. Key Responsibilities:Run daily Trading PNL, maintaining detailed position summaries for the trading booksResponsible for daily production of risk metrics (VAR, Initial Margin)Be point of contact with clearers and brokers for trade reconciliation  Business performance analyses including trader and investment process evaluationsMonthly and quarterly management reports for individual Pennine businesses as requiredSupport CFO with general reporting requirementsSupport businesses with data handling/gathering dutiesRequirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or STEM subject Understanding of basic accounting concepts such as mark to market accounting, basis risk, risk modellingFamiliarity with financial instruments (futures, swaps, options, fx)Proficiency with Microsoft ExcelProgramming skills (Python, SQL) Ability to work in an unstructured environment, take initiativeAttention to detail and to work accurately under pressure
