Our advertising network handles 7+ billion events daily across 300 servers in 5 data centers (Europe & the US). We process over 700,000 requests per second at peak load, and our ClickHouse cluster stores more than 1. 8 petabytes of data. And yet, everything works like Swiss clockwork — thanks to our team of smart, talented, and proactive individuals. We’re now looking for a Data Scientist who can uncover insights from massive datasets and help scale our advertising network even further.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and evaluate machine learning models to improve product performance and business outcomesCollaborate cross-functionally with analysts, developers, and product managersConduct deep exploratory analysis of product and user data (hundreds of billions of events per month)Build predictive and prescriptive models to support decision-makingParticipate in feature selection, A/B test design, and model validationIdentify growth opportunities and optimization areas in traffic and user behaviorDevelop custom tools and dashboards to monitor key product and model metricsEnsure data quality, build pipelines for monitoring and anomaly detectionClearly present hypotheses, findings, and insights to both technical and non-technical audiencesDrive continuous improvement of analytical tools and processes within the teamRequirementsHave 3+ years of experience in data science or applied machine learningAre confident in statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimental designUnderstand the fundamentals of ad tech and media buying (or have a strong willingness to learn)Are fluent in SQL (especially ClickHouse – a major plus)Know how to work with large-scale datasets (terabytes to petabytes of data)Are proficient in Python or R for data analysis and ML (e.
g. , pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, etc. )Can build and interpret regression, classification, and clustering modelsHave experience with BI tools (Grafana, Tableau, Power BI, etc. )Are proactive, curious, and results-drivenCan explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholdersKnow how to break down complex problems into manageable componentsWe OfferNo dress code, no bureaucracy.
