We are looking for a Performance Team Lead to drive our media buying strategy, optimize ad campaigns, and lead a high-performing team. Your role will be key in aligning our product development with market trends, ensuring continuous network growth and success. ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Strategy: Manage and mentor the performance team, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement. Define and implement department operations aligned with company goals. Lead recruitment processes and onboard new team members.
Conduct semiannual performance reviews and quarterly retrospectives to evaluate team progress. Performance & OptimizationDefine optimization strategies for existing partners to maximize their ROI. Increase revenues for publishers through strategic initiatives and data-driven insights. Identify and exploit traffic trends using business intelligence and data mining techniques. Business DevelopmentGenerate new business opportunities by onboarding strategic clients. Represent TrafficStars at international trade shows, fostering industry relationships. Oversee internal performance projects with Senior Media Buyers and the Full Stack Developer. QualificationsMedia Buying Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in media buying within ad networks. Team Leadership: At least 1+ year of experience managing and mentoring a team.
Technical Skills: Solid understanding of APIs, S2S postbacks, trackers and how to integrate/use them. Proficiency in Python, HTML, SQL and any programming language is a strong plus. Ability to write clear, actionable tasks for the tech team. Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for strategic decisions. Excellent negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Experience coordinating with multiple departments and managing cross-functional projects. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment. Willingness to travel for international trade shows and business development.
