Trainee - Market Back Office

The Market Back Office is part of the Custody business activity of Nomura Bank (Luxembourg) S.A. This department processes the booking and the settlement of all cash, securities and derivative instruments executed by NBL trading room as well as third party deals instructed by our clients within given cut-off times.In order to support the department, we are looking for a Market Back Office Trainee with a school convention for a period of 6 months.Your main tasks will be to process accurately and timely any kind of financial transactions:Input incoming trade instructions on a daily basisPerform various reconciliations of positions and analyse the position breaksFollow up of cash breaks resolutionJob RequirementsLast year of Master degree in Finance or Economics Good understanding of the financial marketGood Knowledge of back office cash instruments, securities and derivative products Very good level of English Good Knowledge of MS Office tools Very good organisational skills – Setting of priorities and respect of deadlinesHighly accurate and dedicated to quality Dedication, team spirit and flexibilityPlease be aware that in accordance with the law of July 23, 2016, the selected candidate will be requested to provide a criminal record (section 3)
