Job Description

A global, luxury retailer is looking to recruit a training manager. This luxury retailer is experiencing significant growth having delivered consecutive like for like increases for many years. They are opening an average of 40 stores per year and have a presence across all major markets globally. Their global head office is based in London where the role is situated. The role will see you taking responsibility for the creation and execution of training materials, both online and offline, to be delivered across the global store portfolio. In this role, you’ll be able to evaluate the existing training materials and will have the autonomy to implement your own ideas and working practices to raise the bar on what is in place currently.You’ll be designing content to be used for induction and on-boarding, service standards and new product launches and product awareness. Online learning is delivered through the company LMS which operates on the Workday platform. Offline materials will be delivered to the local training managers in each global market in a train the trainer format.The ideal candidate will have gained experience working in the beauty industry as an appreciation for product and passion for the sector is important. The role manages a team of three therefore demonstrable team leadership experience is essential. Experience working with Articulate 360 and Workday is advantageous but not essential. You will have developed strong project management skills during your career in training as the ability to work collaboratively with other cross functional and regional/international teams to deliver quality and timely global solutions is key to the success of the role. In return, the salary on offer is a competitive one up to £75,000 per year, depending on experience. The role is based in the office three days a week.The head office location has recently moved to a fabulous new location where the offices are clean, spacious and a fantastic view of London. You’ll also enjoy summertime working in July and August.
