Location: Luxembourg (no remote)Start date: ASAPAssignment: Until end of January 2026 (extension possible)Contract type: Freelance / External Consultant (via GS Advisory)About the RoleWe are looking for a mid-senior Transaction Monitoring Analyst to support the Payments / 1st Line of Defence team of a leading European bank. The consultant must be able to work with a high level of autonomy and handle investigations without close supervision.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and investigate transaction monitoring alertsPerform first-line checks and escalations in line with AML/CTF requirementsSupport the Payments team on day-to-day financial crime monitoringDocument findings and ensure clear audit trailsLiaise with internal stakeholders (Compliance, Operations, Payments teams)Required ProfileProven experience in Transaction Monitoring (mandatory)Solid understanding of AML/CTF typologies and red flagsExperience in a 1LOD environment is a strong advantageAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent command of English (mandatory)TermsFull-time assignmentContract until end of January, with the possibility of extensionInterviews will be conducted by our client prior to confirmationSTART ASAPIf you meet the criteria and are available on short notice, please send your CV to GS Advisory.
