Interpreting involves listening to, understanding and memorizing content in the original āsource' language, then reproducing the speech into the ātarget' language with 100% accuracy. You will: Interpret for people using legal, health and local government servicesCheck the non-English speakers understanding after each sentenceConference, consecutive and public service interpretingDealing with highly confidential informationLiaise between the service user and service providerRequirementsRequirements: Fluent in English or another language BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL Any other interpreting related qualification Must hold an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) certificate with an overall band score of 6.
