Job Title: Transport SupervisorLocation: Marikina CityIndustry: Food Manufacturing / LogisticsEmployment Type: Full-time, OnsiteJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and proactive Transport Supervisor to oversee and manage the daily operations of the company’s transportation activities. The role is responsible for coordinating deliveries, supervising drivers and dispatchers, ensuring vehicle maintenance, and maintaining compliance with food safety and logistics standards.The ideal candidate has experience in fleet management, route optimization, and logistics coordination within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry, and possesses strong leadership and problem-solving skills.Key Responsibilities1. Transport Operations ManagementSupervise and coordinate daily delivery schedules and transportation activities.Ensure the timely and accurate dispatch of goods to clients and distribution points.Monitor and evaluate transport efficiency to minimize delays and operational costs.2. Fleet & Vehicle MaintenanceOversee the upkeep, preventive maintenance, and repair of company vehicles.Maintain accurate records of fuel consumption, mileage, maintenance, and inspection reports.Ensure all vehicles comply with regulatory standards and company safety protocols.3. Personnel SupervisionLead and manage drivers, helpers, and dispatch staff.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to improve productivity.Ensure compliance with safety, driving, and hygiene protocols.4. Logistics & CoordinationCollaborate with the Production, Warehouse, and Sales teams to align dispatch schedules with order requirements.Plan optimal delivery routes and monitor daily vehicle assignments.Address delivery issues, customer complaints, and operational bottlenecks promptly.5. Compliance & ReportingEnsure transport operations adhere to food safety standards and government regulations (LTO, DOLE, etc.).Prepare and submit regular transport activity reports, fuel analysis, and cost-efficiency metrics.Support audits and documentation requirements related to transport and logistics.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or any related field.At least 3–5 years of experience in transport or logistics supervision, preferably in the food manufacturing or FMCG sector.Strong leadership and team management skills.Good understanding of fleet management systems, delivery route planning, and transport cost control.Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and logistics management software.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Must be willing to work onsite in Marikina City.
