Treasury Application Engineer Consultant

TheHappyRecruiter is hiring on behalf of one of its partners, an IT consultancy based in Luxembourg. The end client operates in the financial sector, and English is the primary working language.You will contribute to the reliability and ongoing enhancement of the treasury environment by supporting core platforms and related applications. This position provides exposure to a broad technical stack, databases, scripting, cloud, automation, and integration tools, while also strengthening your understanding of financial processes such as trading, treasury flows, and payments.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide level-2 support for treasury systems and connected applications.Support the integration of new functionalities into financial platforms.Automate manual or repetitive tasks to increase efficiency.Participate in deployments, environment maintenance, and configuration activities.Create and maintain clear documentation on solutions, procedures, and best practices.Lead technical discussions and contribute to complex incident resolution.Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing across the team.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Your ProfileExperience supporting financial or treasury-related applications.Knowledge of financial concepts such as trading, treasury, payments, or risk.Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Java, Bash).Solid SQL experience, including writing and optimising queries.Comfortable working with Linux and Windows Server environments.Experience with DevOps/automation tools such as Azure DevOps and Ansible.Strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.Mandatory: Valid Luxembourg work permit (no sponsorship possible).On-site role in Luxembourg, with limited remote work flexibility.Open to both permanent employees (CDI) and freelancers.Interested?If this opportunity sparks your interest, please apply via LinkedIn or contact Géraldine directly via WhatsApp only at +352 621 66 19 82.
