Treasury Associate

About LuoLuo is a fast-growing fintech startup building real-time cross-border payment infrastructure for West Africa.Our platform helps businesses make international payments faster and more affordably.We recently raised $4 million in seed funding from top-tier investors, including the co-founder of Monzo and leading experts in cross-border payments.As we scale our operations and transaction volumes, we are expanding our Treasury team to strengthen liquidity management across our international network of banking and FX partners.Role OverviewAs a Treasury Associate, you will support daily treasury operations, ensuring that funds are available in the right currency, account, and location to meet all payment obligations.You’ll monitor cash positions, execute internal fund transfers, reconcile movements, and work closely with our Finance, Operations, and FX teams to optimize liquidity and support business growth.This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow in a fast-paced fintech environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor daily balances across all bank accounts and liquidity partners.Execute internal fund transfers to support operational needs and settlements.Track expected inflows and outflows to maintain sufficient liquidity coverage.Coordinate with the FX & Trading team on currency conversions and settlements.Reconcile all treasury movements with the back office and accounting teams.Maintain organized and audit-ready records of all treasury transactions.Support the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.Liaise with banking partners to resolve daily execution issues or limits.What We’re Looking For2–5 years of experience in treasury, finance operations, or liquidity management.Strong numerical and analytical skills.Understanding of multi-currency cash flow management and reconciliation.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth fintech environment.Strong communication skills and sense of ownership.Experience in fintech, FX, or cross-border payments is a plus.
