Working as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team, youll carry out holistic assessments to understand each young persons needs and ensure theyre matched with the right support at the right time.Youll take the lead on triaging new referrals, conducting comprehensive assessments, and liaising with families, schools and professionals to develop effective care plans. You bring professionalism, compassion and calm, and you're driven by the belief that early, effective intervention changes lives.To Succeed In This Role, Youll Need:A qualification in mental health or in working with children and young people (e.g. Youth Work, Social Work, Psychology, Counselling)At least one years post-qualification experienceExperience delivering holistic assessments for children and young peopleWork with vulnerable groups and in multi-agency settingsStrong understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment, consent and Gillick competencyTime management skills and ability to work under pressureConfident IT and case recording skillsA collaborative, flexible attitude with excellent communication skillsAlthough home based you will need to occasionally travel therefore will need to have a UK driving licence and access to a vehicleDesirable criteria include a CBT-informed approach, experience in organising team duties, and knowledge of evidence-based practice or child development that will give you an even stronger start but aren't dealbreakers.Are you the person who helps change the course of a young persons life?
