To support that goal, we are now looking for a Senior Accountant who wants to make a difference in our finance team.

Group FunctionsTruesec consists of several domains who act as partners towards our customers within various different areas of cyber security. The group function supports with e. g. Marketing, People & Culture, Internal IT and Finance and do so both locally and globally. All functions act and collaborate with the organization with a business objective in mind as the tasks are crucial for Truesec to continue to prevent cyber breach and minimize impact. A key role for a successful Finance TeamThe Senior Accountant is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s accounting operations.

This role involves full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, compliance with tax obligations and the management of day-to-day financial transactions. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities with precision and independence.

What You Will DoResponsible for taking over most of the tasks within accounting from the current accounting firmProcess daily accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledgerAssist the organization regarding project accountingPrepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes and management reports for Group Finance within the groups’ deadlinesPrepare and submit VAT returns, payroll tax and income tax and ensure timely paymentsPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statementsEnsure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and tax regulationsDrive automation and process improvement initiatives in financial operationsBe helpful in other tasks that occur in a finance departmentYour potential backgroundYou have a strong foundation in finance, with experience in monthly closing and tax.

You’re detail-oriented, organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Your proactive approach allows you to identify areas for improvement while maintaining compliance with financial standards. You are a team player and have a service-minded attitude which makes you a natural collaborator who thrives in a team-oriented environment. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)5+ years of experience within accountingStrong knowledge of local GAAP and financial reporting standardsExperience with ERP systems (e. g. , VISMA NET, SEVERA) and Excel proficiencyStrong analytical, organizational and communication skillsOther Requirements:

Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spokenWillingness to travel occasionally, as requiredDue to the sensitivity of our work, we require Danish citizenship, citizenship in an EU country, or a Danish work permit.
