 Role DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Design & Drafting Technician to join our dynamic product development team. The Design & Drafting Technician role is responsible for working with the design team to bring our products from start to production with speed to market and high-quality output in mind.  We are an ambitious group looking to take Automotive Accessories the next level. If you are passionate about design related to cars, enjoy working in a fast pace and self-autonomous environment – we’d love to hear from you.  This is a full-time, on-site role located in Scarborough, ON.

ResponsibilitiesSupport 3D scanning, ensuring high-quality output adhering to established standards Process and prepare CAD packages from 3D scan data for approval Conduct vehicle & component research for best fitment Collaborate with design team on design direction Prepare product drawings for vendor partners  Review product prototypes for fit, form and function Utilize Adobe Illustrator for various tasks involving design notes, adjustments  Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product designers, engineers, and operation team to ensure seamless integration of product launches QualificationsTechnician/Technology Diploma or equivalent in the disciplines of 3D CAD design Minimum of 2+ years in CAD design experience Experience in 3D scanning an asset Experience in SolidWorks, Adobe Illustrator an asset Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and written/verbal communication abilities.
