TWD is currently seeking an Intermediate Capital Cost Estimator / Project Cost Controller in our Athens, Greece office to support TWD Hellas. Job SummaryAs an Intermediate Capital Cost Estimator based in our Athens office, you will support the preparation and analysis of capital cost estimates for projects across the oil & gas and infrastructure sectors.

You will work closely with project teams to ensure accurate, timely, and well-documented estimates are delivered to support project planning, budgeting, and execution. Job ResponsibilitiesPrepare quantitative estimates & estimate proposals for projects. Intermediate user of Aspen Capital Cost Estimator. Using Aspen Economic Evaluation software, prepare multi‐disciplined project estimates; prepare and manage cost estimates for all sizes of Energy projects, including Oil and Gas facilities, Pipelines, and Green Energy per AACEI guidelines. Develop and coordinate estimate plans for projects of all size and complexity. Provide basis of estimates and conduct CCE using the basis of estimate.

Conduct CCE cost risk assessments (e. g. Monte Carlo simulations, Cost Risk Matrix development). Present estimates for internal and client reviews, answer questions and confidently explain details. Review and revise CCE policy and procedures with aim to increase accuracy and consistency of estimates. Manage small team of supporting CCE staff and lead estimate revies with project teams. Provide input into business development activities as to the level of effort required to complete CCE scope. Able to work on multiple projects concurrently. Assist project services with project schedule development and updates.

Provide Cost Control Support on engineering and construction projects including developing work breakdown structures, measuring earned value, forecasting costs at completion, etc. Qualifications5+ Years of Estimating and/or Cost Control experience. Worked in Small Projects and Large Projects (up to $500MM). Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Experience using Aspen Cost Estimating. 5-6 years minimum of relevant experience in energy, oil and gas, pipeline and industrial projects. Post Secondary Education in Engineering, technology, or applicable trades. Proficient with MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel. AACE Certification is a benefit.
