We are currently recruiting a KYC Executive for a Top Tier Law Firm. Working as part of the Risk and Partnership Affairs team you will be managing KYC requirements across the firm. About the roleIn this role you will be:
Reviewing KYC documentation received from clients to complete CDD file reviews;Reviewing and assessing client company documents to identify beneficial ownership;Liaising with internal stakeholders to request additional documentation;Complete PEP, sanctions and adverse media screening on relevant individuals and companies;Conducting periodic KYC reviews on existing clients;Responding to queries from across the business in relation to all aspects of the matter creation and acceptance process;Ensuring compliance with regulatory developments in KYC;Maintaining internal databases and researching public registers; andMaintaining various compliance registers, providing reports where requested.
About the personTwo years’ experience in a KYC role essential;You have a degree in business or finance or a related area or you have a recent CAMS or ACOI qualification with elevated work experience;You have a knowledge of KYC obligations and regulations and understand the expectations surrounding AML and sanctions;You take a structured and process driven approach, have a keen eye for detail and excellent analytical skills;You have an ability to multitask coupled with strong time management skills;You have excellent systems skills, are comfortable with databases and have good project management and reporting experience; andYou have a commercial mind-set and the credibility to deal with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
