Coming from diverse backgrounds and using their creative problem-solving and managerial skills, Consultants / Senior Consultants at L.E.K. guide our case teams to provide clients insights with impact. You will make a difference by helping to drive our teams to deliver actionable value and targeted opportunities to help our clients win.ResponsibilitiesConsultants / Senior Consultants at L.E.K. manage a team of Associates and/or Associate Consultants right from the start and are on point to ensure the team is addressing client problems and delivering an answer. While every case is different, Consultants’ / Senior Consultants’ primary responsibilities typically include: Breaking down and outlining the client’s key opportunities Designing and supervising the team’s core research tasks and analyses day-to-day Developing presentations and other deliverable structures Participating in the communication of project conclusions to client senior management Providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback to more junior staffAs part of the role, you may be asked to travel to client sites. Breadth of experiences: While our projects span most industries and O&P services, our focus is strategy, operations, performance improvement and value capture. Consultants / Senior Consultants typically work on ~6-10 projects a year, providing greater exposure across clients and strategic issues, as well as faster development of business acumen. Fun, stimulating work environment: L.E.K. teams spend substantially more time in their home office relative to teams at peer firms, and we pride ourselves on a vibrant social culture, including case team events, office parties, non-profit involvement, and much more. O&P Healthcare Services Consultants / Senior Consultants have a hybrid schedule, with time spent both in L.E.K. home office and at client sites. International exposure: Approximately one-third of L.E.K. projects involve an international component, which allows Consultants / Senior Consultants to work on international case teams or, if they choose, to relocate to international offices on either a temporary or a full-time basis.Upward mobility: L.E.K. is a meritocracy with an entrepreneurial culture and frequent feedback. We rapidly progress responsibility to accelerate our team’s development.Qualifications & ExperienceAn MBA from a renowned school with outstanding academic achievement or 3-5 years of full-time professional experience post-graduation in a relevant field Industry knowledge, especially around the nuances of Healthcare operations Experience in a range of the core value capture capabilities: Operational flow, Capacity optimization, Cost efficiency, procurement, revenue cycle, labor analysis, provider operations Superior analytical skills combined with demonstrated expertise in consulting approachesProven ability to motivate and coach people in multiple dimensions including analytical skills, project management, client relationship management, and interpersonal skillsStrong “bedside manner” with clients: able to engage at varying levels within a client’s organization, helping effect the research, strategic planning, and/or change required to realize the project objectivesStrong project management skills including work planning, presentation development, quality control, and client managementExcellent communication skills both oral and written and the ability to influence othersBright, conceptual and a quick learner, able to quickly assess a situation and generate new insights and actionable ideasL.E.K. Consulting offers competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience. The base salary at the Consultant level is $185,000USD and at the Senior Consultant level is $200,000USD. The estimated total potential compensation at these levels ranges from $250,000USD (Consultant) to $290,000USD (Sr. Consultant).  The realization of performance bonuses and profit sharing are influenced by both individual and firm performance. Broader firm benefits include 401K, health/dental/vision insurance, paid vacation and holidays, sick leave and short and long term disability insurance.International candidates will be considered.
