UI/UX Design Manager

One of our clients, an IT consulting and service provider , is currently looking for a UI/UX Design Manager, who will join their dynamic team in BGC, Taguig.Work set-up: HybridWork schedule: Day shiftJob responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of UI/UX designers to deliver high-quality user experiences across web and mobile platforms. Oversee design projects from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define design strategies and priorities. Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices across projects.Conduct design reviews, provide mentorship, and foster a culture of creativity and innovation.Ensure usability testing and incorporate feedback into design iterations. Manage timelines, resources, and budgets for design projects. Job qualifications:Must Have Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role. Experienced in handling 5 – 10 members in a team. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD Background in Insurance/Banking/Fintech Domain projects Good to have skills:Proven track record of managing design teams and delivering successful projects. Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design and visual design principles.Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Experience in Insurance or Financial Services industry. Familiarity with design systems and enterprise-level digital structures. Knowledge of HTML/CSS for design handoff. Exposure to Agile methodologies and project management tools.
