Job Overview:We are seeking a creative and user-centric Senior UI/UX Designer to join our digital product team. You will be responsible for designing intuitive, usable, and delightful digital experiences for East West Bank's customers and employees, covering online banking, mobile applications, internal tools, and complex business systems. You will translate intricate financial workflows into clear, efficient, and secure design solutions, working closely with product managers and engineers to build industry-leading digital financial products.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Design Leadership: Lead the full design cycle from concept to launch, including user research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and driving the implementation and validation of design standards.Complex System Experience Design: Design clean, professional user experiences for data-intensive and process-complex financial systems (e.g., CRM, operational dashboards, core banking interfaces), ensuring clear information communication and operational efficiency.Design System Development & Maintenance: Participate in establishing and maintaining the company's Design System, defining and standardizing UI components, interaction patterns, and visual language to ensure product family consistency, high quality, and improved team collaboration efficiency.User Research & Usability Testing: Continuously gain insights into user (customers and internal staff) needs and pain points through methods like user interviews, usability testing, and data analysis, translating findings into actionable design improvements.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate deeply with product owners, business analysts, and front-end development teams. Clearly articulate design rationale, deliver high-fidelity mockups with detailed specifications, and participate in design reviews to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.QualificationsEssential Requirements:Bachelor's degree or higher in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Arts, or a related field.5+ years of UI/UX design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing mature, launched products for complex B2B or B2C applications (portfolio required).Proficiency in mainstream design tools, especially Figma (required), and familiarity with prototyping tools.Deep understanding of user-centered design processes, interaction design principles, information architecture, and visual design standards.Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate the rationale behind design decisions.Bilingual communication skills in Chinese and English, capable of participating in cross-regional project discussions.Core Skills:Interaction & Visual Design: Excellent skills in interaction design, data visualization, and visual design.Complex System Design: Proven experience in designing clear interfaces for complex business processes or data-intensive back-office systems.Design System: Hands-on experience in building or maintaining a design system.Preferred Qualifications:Experience designing for FinTech, banking, or enterprise SaaS products.Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JS) basics to facilitate smooth communication with development teams.Practical experience in user research, data analysis, or A/B testing.
