PlusMinusOne is a mobile startup studio that focuses on developing and marketing its own apps that are used and loved by millions of people around the world. Our products collectively reach more than a half-million new users every month in the US market alone. Our team works in hybrid model with offices in San Francisco, Istanbul and Ankara.We have been building mobile products focused on Business, Photo & Video, and Education categories in the App Store mainly for the US market since 2016. And in each of these categories, our goal is the same: provide actual value to people with the best mobile user experience.We’re in an exciting period of growth and are looking for an exceptional UI/UX Designer who will help us shape the future of mobile.What we are looking for:An online portfolio demonstrating strong creative skills and relevant mobile projects1-3 years of experience designing mobile consumer productsBA Degree in Graphic Design / Visual Design / A related field or equivalent practical experience.Comfortable with creating lots of visual design variations for testing, and measuring.Good understanding of design thinking and iterative design processGood understanding of Apple Human Interface Guidelines.Proficiency in relevant industry-standard applications, Figma, Miro, and being open to learning new tools if needed.The ability to clearly communicate and present your design ideas.Your responsibilities will be:Transform low-fidelity/high-fidelity wireframes into user interfaces by designing screen layouts, color palettes, typography, user interface elements, micro-interactions, and icons.Understand and work with the limits of functional requirements, interaction behavior, and other design considerations iteratively throughout new product and feature design phases resulting in complete and comprehensive designs.Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standardsEffectively working with and participating as a contributor to a multi-disciplinary team that includes UX Designers, product managers, growth marketers, software engineers, and QA engineers.Identifying new product improvement opportunities based on user feedback and insights from internal teams.Following new design trends, staying current in your field, and improving yourself for staying ahead of the curve in this competitive market.What we offer:Opportunity to make an impact on millions of global users' life and the future of mobileChance to be a part of a passionate and driven team where everyone’s ideas are valuedWorking in an environment with a Silicon Valley startup culture and benefitsA hybrid work environment with 3 days a week at the Kabataş Istanbul office14 days of paid vacation that starts from the first year of joining the teamQuarterly profit sharing based on performanceAbility to own a stock option after the first yearPrivate health insurance packageReimbursement package for any education, course, etc.Reimbursement package for your sports activitiesA Macbook, iPhone, magic mouse, magic keyboard, and any other hardware that you need to deliver your best work.Let's shape the future of mobile together!
