Learn more about our story at: https://rubylabs.com/about-us/About The RoleRubyLabs is building a high-scale payment orchestration platform used across multiple digital products and looking for a UI/UX Engineer who can design and implement scalable, data-heavy interfaces using our modern frontend stack.This role combines strong UI execution, thoughtful UX decisions, and the ability to handle complex product logic in a clean and intuitive way.This is not just “implement what’s in Figma.” You will shape flows, propose improvements, and elevate the UX quality of a complex fintech system.Key ResponsibilitiesCRM & Payment Interface DevelopmentBuild production-ready UI in Next.js 14 (App Router)Implement admin dashboardsDevelop configuration screens for payment flows, routing, retries, and billing logicEnsure responsive and consistent UI across modulesUX for Complex Financial SystemsDesign clear flowsReduce cognitive load in data-heavy interfacesImprove clarity in high-risk actions (refunds, cancellation, configuration changes)Design meaningful empty states, loading states, and error statesComponent System & Frontend ArchitectureBuild reusable components using shadcn/uiExtend and customize design system components when necessaryMaintain structured UI patterns across the CRMContribute to scalable folder and module architectureKeep UI consistent with Tailwind-based design tokensQuality & Engineering DisciplineWrite clean, structured TypeScript codeEnsure proper data fetching patterns, predictable state handling and stable buildsMaintain accessibility best practicesOptimize performance in data-heavy pagesProduct CollaborationWork closely with product managers to refine UX before implementationCollaborate with backend engineers to ensure UI accurately reflects business logicGather feedback from internal teams using the CRMProactively suggest UX and structural improvementsQualifications2–4+ years of experience with React / Next.jsStrong TypeScript skillsExperience building admin dashboards, SaaS tools, or fintech interfacesStrong understanding of UX principles in data-driven systemsExperience working with Tailwind CSSComfortable using and extending component libraries (e.g., shadcn/ui)Ability to independently translate requirements into clean UINice to haveExperience in payments, fintech, or subscription systemsFamiliarity with backend APIs and understanding REST contractsExperience with design systems or maintaining component librariesStrong UI / UX skillsUnderstanding of financial UI patterns (tables, filters, analytics views)LocationRuby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone.
