Our Client has a contract opportunity for an industry experienced Scientist in the Cell Line Development (CLD) group at our Oceanside campus facility. Seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented individual to design and execute experiments to support cell culture and clone development for our rapidly growing biologics pipeline. The successful candidate will also contribute to the overall strategy of new technology development projects. Education: BS (or MS) with 5+ years’ experience in a relevant scientific discipline (biology, bioengineering, chemical engineering, biochemical engineering). Qualifications/Skills:
Experience with mammalian cell culture (CHO) and automation/high-throughput technologies for mammalian cell line generation and process optimization preferred. Excellent communication, technical report writing, and presentation skills and aptitude for creative problem solving. Strong organizational and planning skills. Experience in statistics and data analysis (e. g. JMP, Spotfire).
