This includes the transport of patients with oxygen tanks, intravenous pumps, drips and special equipment. Assists clinical staff with the transferring of patients to/from beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs safely.Collects specimens, orders, requisitions and equipment and deliver items to appropriate destination.Maintains equipment and report malfunctions immediately to the appropriate person.Monitors surrounding environment for unsafe situations and equipment and reports issues to the appropriate person.Prioritizes duties by demonstrating self-motivation, flexibility, and cooperation with changes in work volume, emergencies and staffing needs.Works closely with the clinical staff to assure positive patient outcomes.Maintains strict patient confidentialityRetrieves equipment, delivers and maintenances stretchers, wheelchairs, infusion pumps and precaution carts.Delivers medications from the pharmacy as routinely scheduled.Performs the duties of a storeroom clerk as needed: answering phones, delivering supplies, processing incoming stock and coverage for after business hours to include holidays.Scheduled Hours: 37.5hrs/weekWork Shift: DayEducation Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.Required Certifications: AHA Heart Saver AED or BLS.Benefits Working At Anna Jaques HospitalTuition ReimbursementCareer Development and OpportunitiesFree On-Site ParkingDiscounts/Savings on various businesses.Health and Wellness activitiesApply today and learn more!Pay Range$17.00 - $22.88The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
