Let’s make a meaningful difference, together!Your part in our UnitingCare teamThis position provides a holistic response to the needs of each individual in the family and to the family unit as a whole. The Family Support Worker Will ProvideTherapeutic, practical and educative assistance as requiredLink them with services and resources within the community. Facilitating effective group support/education sessions including parenting and playgroupsWhat makes a difference for us? Tertiary qualifications in a relevant human services field and demonstrated skillsSound knowledge gained through substantial experience working with children and families.

Sound knowledge of and demonstrated ability to utilise therapeutic processes and practices including the ability to analyse, evaluate and make objective judgments and recommendations. Current Drivers Licence. Working with Children Check (Blue Card)Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and therefore may result in the role closing early if the right applicant is found.
