Our partner is dedicated to empowering toddlers and preschoolers (ages 2–6) to explore Arabic language through engaging, play-based digital experiences. With a current library of 15 Unity-based mini-games and an ambitious goal to expand to 50+, they are committed to preserving Arabic culture and language through innovative edtech solutions. To support this growth, they are developing a modular architecture and content management system (CMS) to streamline game creation and manage multiple apps efficiently from a single backend. Join a mission-driven, founder-led team and shape the future of educational gaming!ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain a modular Unity architecture for reusable mini-game templates, building, testing, and optimizing interactive educational games (e.g., drag-and-drop, tracing, tap-to-match, coloring).Implement shared systems (UI, sound, effects, logic, localization) for consistency, ensuring smooth scene management, asynchronous loading, and asset handling for offline play, while creating flexible structures for different difficulty modes.Connect Unity templates to a backend content management system (CMS), defining data structures (JSON/config files) for dynamic asset and logic loading, and building tools/workflows enabling non-developers to configure or update games.Collaborate with the founder and content team to translate educational concepts into scalable templates, optimizing asset sizes, performance, and build processes.Manage builds and testing through App Store, Play Store, TestFlight, and simulator/emulator environments, documenting systems and proactively suggesting improvements to architecture and pipelines.QualificationsRequire 5+ years of experience with Unity and C# development, with proven expertise in building modular game systems and a strong understanding of scene management, asynchronous loading, and object pooling.Demonstrate experience integrating with APIs or external databases.Proficiency with mobile publishing and testing pipelines (App Store, Play Store, TestFlight, internal testing, simulators/emulators), and excellent communication and collaboration skills.Be self-driven, actively seeking optimization and innovation opportunities to support a mission-driven team expanding from 15 to 50+ Unity-based mini-games.Arabic language familiarity, experience in children’s educational or casual mobile games, strong UI/UX sensibility with child-friendly interface knowledge, and awareness of COPPA/Google Play Families Policy compliance.
