Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for a University Lecturer based in Semera. The lecturer will be responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, conducting research in their field of expertise, guiding and mentoring students, and participating in the development of academic programs. Additional responsibilities include evaluating student progress, contributing to departmental and university activities, and fostering an engaging learning environment. Qualifications Strong teaching, public speaking, and curriculum development skillsExperience in academic research, proposal writing, and publishingProficiency in mentoring and guiding students effectivelyExcellent organizational, time management, and communication skillsAdvanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a relevant field of expertiseAdaptability to work in a culturally rich and resource-abundant settingPrior experience in higher education or university-level teaching is advantageousCommitment to contributing to the academic and regional development goals of the university
