Individual Health SpecialistURL Insurance Group is looking to hire an Individual Health Specialist to work with our Health Plan Options team. Top candidates will have a history of health insurance industry experience, but it is not required. An Individual Health Specialist will assist agents with questions regarding health insurance products. The primary responsibility of the position is to be knowledgeable about the products and services that we offer to fully support our agent partners during their selling processes from start to finish.
The Individual Health Support Specialist will act as the liaison between the agent and the insurance company and advocate for resolutions on behalf of the agent and their clients. Job Responsibilities· Communicate with agents and insurance companies via email and phone· Recruit and assist with onboarding new insurance agents and agency customers for individual health products· Work in coordination with our Marketing dept. on individual health insurance marketing initiatives· Enter information into various computer systems· Research, process, and manage inbound and outbound inquiries from agents· Observe and identify opportunities for improvement. Create processes and workflows where needed.
· Make constructive suggestions for change· Keep up to date and well versed on regulatory and legislative policies around individual health insurance products.
· Coordinate ICHRA implementation and administration with our agent partners, vendors, and enrollment specialistsSkills and Qualifications· Health insurance experience preferred· Customer service background and relationship building skills· Professional, positive, and enthusiastic attitude· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, OneDrive, Word, Outlook, )· Experience using Salesforce or other CRM's· Data entry accuracy· Multi-tasking· Works both independently and collaboratively· Creative problem solving· Effective written and verbal communication skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; bachelors’ degree preferred Our TeamURL Insurance Group is a family owned and operated insurance marketing organization.
