This role will support laboratory testing activities, manage equipment and supplies, and provide technical assistance to internal teams to enable efficient and compliant laboratory operations.Key Responsabilities" Oversee day-to-day operations of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements." Manage laboratory equipment, including calibration, preventive maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting to ensure availability and accuracy." Manage the asset tracking system to ensure all asset locations, state, and availability are current" Coordinate inventory of laboratory supplies, chemicals, and consumables; place orders as needed to avoid disruptions." Support testing activities by preparing samples, conducting routine tests, and ensuring accurate data recording." Upgrade and downgrade software on the robotic devices to support daily testing activities" Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure proper documentation of laboratory activities." Train and guide laboratory staff, interns, or contractors on safety and technical procedures." Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Manufacturing) to support projects requiring laboratory services." Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment in alignment with company EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards." Prepare reports, metrics, and updates for management regarding laboratory performance and compliance status.What are the Mandatory skills and skill proficiencies required for this position?" Technical degree in Laboratory Sciences, Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field is preferred." Minimum of 3 5 years of experience working in laboratory environments, preferably within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry." Strong knowledge of laboratory safety standards, regulatory guidelines, and quality management systems (ISO, GMP, GLP)." Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment maintenance and troubleshooting." Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities." Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across diverse teams." Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and laboratory management systems."
