UX Designer📍Remote/Hybrid, UK💰£45k - £55kA leading UK digital consultancy is seeking a UX Designer to help design and deliver user-centred digital services for high-impact public sector and enterprise projects. You’ll play a key role in aligning business, user, and technical perspectives — helping to create intuitive, inclusive, and accessible digital experiences that make a real difference.The roleAs a UX Designer, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end UX delivery, from research and discovery through to wireframes, prototypes, and usability testing. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders, product teams, and developers to ensure solutions meet user needs and project objectives.Key responsibilitiesConduct user research using interviews, surveys, and usability testing.Analyse findings to identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.Produce artefacts such as personas, user journeys, and service blueprints.Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for iterative feedback.Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and users.Plan and conduct usability and accessibility testing in line with WCAG 2.2 standards.Define success metrics to guide continuous service improvement.Advocate for user-centred design across teams and mentor others where appropriate.Contribute to internal communities of practice to share and evolve UX best practice.Skills & experienceStrong analytical and communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly.Proven experience designing user-centred, accessible digital services.Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, and Balsamiq.Familiarity with Dovetail, Mural, and Microsoft Forms.Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and tools like Google Analytics (desirable).Experience working in Agile environments and, ideally, to GDS standards.A strong UX portfolio demonstrating practical project examples.What’s on offerCompetitive salary + benefits25 days annual leave + bank holidaysMatched pension contributions (5%)Private healthcare (Bupa)Perkbox membership and fitness supportCycle-to-work schemeAccess to Udemy Business learning platform
