We imagine a world with less pain and more life.We are looking for a UX Designer who wants to join our mission to deliver smarter pain care that improves lives at scale.Hemi is building a digital care platform for people living with complex chronic pain. The platform supports patients and clinicians between consultations and is evolving toward a more digital and AI-supported care model.As a UX Designer at Hemi, your work directly shapes how that mission becomes real.You will design clear patient journeys, clinician workflows, and interactions that make care:Easier to navigateMore focused on what mattersLess administratively heavyMore outcome-drivenYou will work across two deeply connected user groups, clinicians and patients, and design journeys that hold together across both. The complexity lies in shaping information architecture and end-to-end flows that create clarity for professionals while remaining simple and supportive for patients. If designing within that duality excites you, this role will likely be a strong fit.This is a UX-first role. Structure, clarity, and thoughtful interaction design matter more than visual polish. A solid design system is already in place and continues to evolve in close collaboration with our brand and UI design partners.You will work closely with the product lead and with engineers in a small, trusted team with high autonomy and clear accountability. You will also have close access to our end users, both clinicians and patients, and be able to test, learn, and iterate directly from real-world feedback.We value kindness, integrity, and people who genuinely care about building products that improve real lives.We recently raised a €4M seed round and are on a journey to significantly change how complex chronic pain is treated globally.Your work should help more people achieve meaningful improvements in their quality of life.AccountabilitiesDesign end-to-end journeys for patients and cliniciansTurn product and business requirements into simple, usable UX flowsCreate UX concepts for dashboards, tools, and shared experiencesWork closely with product and engineering from idea to releaseTake ownership of your work and be accountable for outcomesContinuously improve the experience as the product growsRequirementsProven experience in UX, interaction, or service design for multi-sided productsStrong understanding of user-centered design, workflow design, and information architectureAbility to explain design decisions clearly and openlyFluency with design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Notion, Linear, and SlackHigh integrity, reliability, and attention to qualityNice to haveExperience in healthcare, wellbeing, or other similar domainsExperience with mobile or cross-platform productsCuriosity about AI-enabled or data-driven products
