User Experience Designer

This role focuses on designing an engaging and intuitive user interface for a mobile application dedicated to lifestyle needs. The project is based in Malaysia and seeks a designer who can create a seamless and culturally relevant user experience. The position is for a single project with the potential for additional work in the future. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mobile app design principles and a sensitivity to the unique requirements of an Islamic lifestyle platform.Responsibilities Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes for a mobile app tailored to Islamic lifestyle features Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand project goals and user needs Ensure the app’s design is accessible, user-friendly, and culturally appropriate for the target audience Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions Iterate on designs based on feedback and testing results Prepare and deliver design assets for development handoff Maintain consistency in visual language and interaction patterns throughout the appSkills And Requirements Proven experience in UI/UX design for mobile applications, preferably with lifestyle or cultural apps Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD Strong portfolio demonstrating mobile app design projects Understanding of Islamic cultural considerations and sensitivity in design Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to conduct user research and translate findings into actionable design improvements Must be based in Malaysia; remote work is acceptable Availability to commit to a project lasting more than one week, with flexibility for potential follow-up workAbout TwineTwine is a leading freelance marketplace connecting top freelancers, consultants, and contractors with companies needing creative and tech expertise.
