Job Description

Responsible :Execute structural, equipment, and piping construction works.Understanding the technical specifications, datasheets, and design documents.Fabrication and Erection of structural and Piping worksMonitor daily construction progress and ensure quality.Coordinate with contractors and ensure timely mobilization of resourcesReview & monitoring of work progress, Resulting completion of job within time.Resolve on-site technical issues promptly.Review and prepare Method Statements and Job Safety Analyses (JSA) for erection activitiesCoordinate material delivery and inventory management.Allocate manpower and equipment effectively.Optimize resource allocation for efficient project executionImplement BC Global health & safety standard.Coordinate with multiple contractors to ensure alignment with the project’s EHS requirements.Promote behavior-based safety and proactive hazard reporting.Organize safety inductions, toolbox talks, and refresher training for workforce.Encourage reporting of near miss cases and drive proactive safety practices.Monitor plant equipment for improvement.Ensure compliance with shut down maintenanceMaintain equipment history and perfect housekeeping.To achieve trouble free operation of the Plant.Document daily progress, issues, and resolutions.Compile quality assurance and safety reports.Ensure proper documentation of design changes and approvals.Maintain accurate records of permits, trainings, audits, incidents, and statutory compliance.Maintain legal compliance and consent condition compliance.Maintain engineering records, reports, and as-built documentation.Qualification :Monitor and control turbine and BOP systems using DCS platforms (e.g., Siemens, ABB, Yokogawa, Honeywell).Ensure optimal performance of steam/gas turbines, condensers, feedwater systems, cooling towers, and auxiliary equipment.Respond to alarms and process deviations promptly to maintain plant stability.Analyze process data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.Troubleshoot DCS-related issues and coordinate with instrumentation and maintenance teams.Support continuous improvement initiatives for plant performance and reliability.Execute safe startup and shutdown procedures for turbines and BOP systems.Handle emergency situations and ensure quick restoration of operations.Maintain readiness for black start and islanding operations if applicable.Assist in planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance.Isolate equipment safely for maintenance activities using interlocks and permits.Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning activities.Maintain accurate logs of operational parameters, events, and interventions.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on turbine and BOP performance.Document changes in control logic, interlocks, and system configurations.MS office (should be very good at MS Excel)knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASME DCS, IBR, IS ).Knowledge of IBR regulationsEducation: Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Power Engineering.Experience: 3–7 years in DCS-based turbine and BOP operations in a power plant.Certifications: BOE or equivalent (preferred); DCS system training (advantageous).
