Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.  Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled UX Designer III Product Designer to join our client.  Contract Period: 6 months with potential to extend or convertPay Rate: Starting from $62 per hour  Location: Toronto, ONLocation Type: 3 days in office as of January and possible 4 later in 2026Business Hours: Monday-Friday; 9:00 AM to 5:00 PMJob Responsibilities:Contribute to strategies and frameworks on projectsCollaborate across teams, ensuring deliverables align with user and business needsConduct basic user research with limited support and provide actionable insightsDesign and test prototypes effectivelyTranslate concepts into wireframes and mock-ups that lead to intuitive user experiencesFacilitate product visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping and mocking up user experiences for digital productsDesign and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mock-ups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfacesIdentify design problems and devise elegant solutionsTake a user-centred design approach and rapidly test and iterate designsContribute to various operational activities and experience design processes as assignedConsistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriateBe knowledgeable of experience design practices and procedures within own area of responsibility and keep abreast of emerging trends for own functional areaProtect the interests of the organization – identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high risk activities as necessaryConduct internal and external research projects; support the development / delivery of presentations / communications to management or broader audienceConduct reporting and / or meaningful analysis at the functional or enterprise level using results to draw conclusions, make recommendations, assess the effectiveness of programs/ policies/ practicesMonitor service, productivity and assess efficiency levels within own function and implement continuous process / performance improvements where opportunities existsAcquire and apply expertise in experience design, provide guidance, assistance and direction to othersIdentify, recommend and effectively execute standard practices applicable to the disciplineAdhere to internal policies/procedures and applicable regulatory guidelinesKeep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impactsMaintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetiteParticipate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interestSupport the team by continuously enhancing knowledge / expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unitKeep current on emerging trends/developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniquesParticipate in personal performance management and development activities, including cross training within own teamKeep others informed and up-to-date about the status / progress of projects and / or all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activitiesContribute to the success of the team by willingly assisting others in the completion and performance of work activities; provide training, coaching and/or guidance as appropriateContribute to a fair, positive and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforceAct as a brand ambassador for your business area/function and the bank, both internally and/or externallyExperience & Qualification Requirement:A degree in design or a design-related discipline5-7 Years of Relevant ExperienceVisual designer and UX designer in one background, Prototyping, Wireframes, Sketching, AnimationProficiency in Figma, Axure and adobe creative suiteManaging stakeholdersAbility to translate conceptual ideas into compelling customer experiencesUnderstanding of web and mobile technologiesGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate well in a team environment**** ALL CANDIDATES MUST COMPLETE A CRIMINAL AND CREDIT CHECK AS PART OF THE APPLICATION PROCESS **** ***We use AI technology as part of our application review process to assist with screening and assessment.
