In this role, you will lead UX initiatives with a human-centered and data-driven mindset, crafting intuitive, visually engaging interfaces and ensuring seamless interactions. You will design user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes informed by research and user feedback.As a UX Lead, you will collaborate closely with innovation teams, data specialists, product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to execute UX strategies for business concepts that align with organizational goals. You will oversee usability testing, analyze insights, and iterate designs to deliver exceptional digital experiences.Key Responsibilities: Evaluate user requirements in collaboration with business analysts and contribute to functional specifications. Follow User-Centered Design (UCD) processes and rapidly test and iterate the designs based on Usability testing results. Facilitate business vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and testing experiences for digital products. Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experience. Provide visual and interaction design optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces. Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions. Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core and new features. Collaborate with other stakeholders, external 3rd party suppliers and internal departments to design and implement robust solutions. Collaborate with other UX Leads in the organisation to bring synergies and standardize tools and solutions. Assess the usability of applications by regularly conducting A/B testing and suggest improvements. Troubleshoot usability issues for applications/sites.Champion user-centric design for emerging technologies, creating intuitive and seamless experiences for autonomous systems and LLM-powered conversational interfaces.Demonstrate prototyping capability, including rapid iteration and validation of concepts using modern tools and frameworks to bring ideas to life quickly and effectively.Apply design thinking principles to explore complex problems and deliver elegant, scalable solutions.Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to integrate UX best practices into cutting-edge products and platforms. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software development with key roles played in UX and UI Design. Airline industry would be an advantage. Good understanding of software development lifecycle and software quality assurance processes. Expertise in areas of UX designs and related tools like Invision, Axure, etc. Expertise in latest HTML, CSS technologies and related libraries.About Qatar Airways GroupOur story started with four aircraft.
