Job position: Terrestrial Ecologist/Botanical SpecialistJob type: Full TimeCompany name: eNVIRO WorksLocation: Cape Town or GeorgeClosing Dates: 15 June 2025Roles / Responsibilities & Job DescriptionEcological/Botanical Specialist services, inter alia: Botanical Impact Assessments Plant species identificationSearch and Rescue including knowledge of relevant permit applicationsKnowledge of Botanical Offset process will be beneficialKnowledge of and willingness to assist with Environmental Management processes (NEMA Environmental Impact Assessments) will be beneficial.Mapping, GIS & data interpretation using software modelling packages (e.g. GIS software).Qualifications Qualifications/Experience Required:Relevant Environmental Hons Degree or higher in Ecology or BotanyMust be able to work in a team Need to meet deadlinesCandidates must have good communication skills in English, be flexible, and have a positive attitude Minimum of 3 years’ experience providing Botanical Specialist services.Understanding of applicable South African Environmental legislation A valid driver’s license SACNASP registration a requirementExcellent report-writing skills You may require a Criminal Records Bureau check.
