JOB ADVERTISEMENTPosition: Van Salesman – FMCG Distribution Location: Kitale, Trans Nzoia CountyDepartment: Sales & MarketingAre you a motivated driver with strong sales skills and experience in FMCG distribution?Our client, a fast-growing distributor in the consumer goods sector, is seeking a Driver / Van Salesman to support daily product delivery, route sales and customer engagement in Kitale. This role demands a proactive individual who can deliver stock efficiently, drive sales growth, maintain route discipline and represent the brand professionally at every outlet.Key Responsibilities:Follow daily journey plans and execute route sales as per company procedures.Achieve volume targets, outlet coverage and maintain sales fundamentals.Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service.Communicate product updates, promotions and pricing changes to customers.Collect market intelligence and report competitor activities.Maintain stock accountability and ensure reconciliation of physical vs. system stock.Operate company vehicle responsibly and ensure routine vehicle checks and cleanliness.Submit daily sales reports, Z reports, and stock-out updates.Collaborate with sales and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.Perform any other duties assigned by the Sales Manager.Qualifications & Skills:KCSE Certificate minimum; sales training is an added advantage.Valid driving license and clean driving record (Class C or equivalent).2–3 years’ experience in van sales or delivery within the FMCG industry.Strong communication and customer service skills.Excellent time management and organizational ability.Team player with the ability to work under minimal supervision.Basic understanding of digital stock/sales systems (e.g., DMS, HHT).High level of accountability and attention to detail.What we’re looking for:A disciplined, self-driven individual with strong work ethic.Ability to balance both driving and sales responsibilities.Customer-focused with a professional, courteous demeanor.Flexible, punctual, and committed to daily sales excellence.How to ApplyInterested and qualified candidates are invited to submit their CV and a brief cover letter outlining their suitability for the role to hr@metricsmanagement.co.ke by 27th October 2025.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
