Vehicle Maintenance & Services Engineer/Automotive TechnicianAbout The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Maintenance & Services Engineer/Automotive Technician to join our client's team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our vehicles through maintenance training, pre-delivery inspections, repair training, shop management and audits, repair record reviews, parts management, inventory support, and SLA tracking. This position requires a strong background in 2-wheeler motorcycle service and maintenance, excellent training skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service. The role is based in our Ho Chi Minh City office and requires onsite presence to effectively perform the required tasks. You will be provided with a laptop to facilitate your work.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct SSS Maintenance Training, providing instruction on maintenance techniquesPerform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on 50 vehicles before delivery to ensure quality and adherence to standardsDeliver SSS Repair Training, including major repair instruction and battery pairing supportManage and audit Certified Repair Shops, conducting inspections, interviews, and generating detailed reportsReview Repair Records and manage parts, including photo and work order review to ensure accuracy and efficiencyProvide Monthly Inventory Support by conducting physical inventory checks with shops to maintain accurate stock levelsTrack and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs), assessing delays and implementing resolutions to ensure customer satisfactionCollaborate with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot complex vehicle issues and develop effective repair solutionsMaintain accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and inspection activitiesAdhere to all safety regulations and company policiesRequired Skills & QualificationsProven experience and skill in 2-wheeler motorcycle service and maintenance mechanicsMinimum of 3 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenanceExperience with Electric 2-Wheelers (E2W) is highly desirableStrong mechanics training skills with the ability to effectively instruct and mentor othersExperience in inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient parts handlingKnowledge of workshop certification and audit processes, with the ability to conduct thorough inspections and assessmentsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex vehicle issuesProficiency in using computer-based diagnostic tools and softwareValid driver's license and willingness to travel to different locations as needed
