The vendor relations lead ensures vendors consistently meet expectations by tracking delivery performance, facilitating vendor governance forums, and advancing our vendor capability development to strengthen long-term value delivery.In This Role, You WillMonitor Vendor Delivery Performance against established SLAs and KPIs, ensuring accountability and transparency. Leads vendor governance forums to review performance, escalate issues and agree on corrective actions.Cross- Functional partnership to identify opportunities for vendor-led innovation and process improvement. Sustain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements and delivery of business unit priorities.Leads Development and Implementation of programs that identify specific enhancements to the key vendor portfolio, resulting in quantifiable performance improvements.Enjoy working on an energetic, fun team and drive the business forward as part of a highly collaborative team, while acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.We’d Love To Hear From People With7+ years project management in highly cross-functional environment7+ years progressive experience in supplier performance and contract management3+ years leading contract negotiations and vendor governance forumsStrong expertise in contract management, vendor performance oversight, and commercial negotiationsAbility to design and facilitate governance forums that engage both internal leaders and vendor executivesKnowledge of managed services, BPO/outsourcing markets, and emerging vendor delivery models such as Build-Operate-Transform-Transfer (BOTT)As a Starbucks partner, you (and your family) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, and other voluntary insurance benefits. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
