Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost. JOB DUTIES: Direct and manage the Turnaround work according to Venture Global HSSE process and procedures to prevent or mitigate risk exposure during the Turnaround event. Directs and manage the Turnaround work execution according to VGIMS (Venture Global Integrity Management System), VGLNG Work Management and Turnaround Management process and procedures.
Develop and execute comprehensive Turnaround strategies aligned with the VGLNG and CPLNG business goals and objectives, considering factors such as Safety, Budget, Schedule timelines and operational requirements. Identify key Turnaround objectives, scope of work, and performance metrics. Work with cross-functional teams including HSSE, Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, fostering effective communication and alignment to ensure the Turnaround objectives are met and any issues or risks are promptly addressed. Direct and conduct Turnaround risk assessments, resource assessments and TA feasibility studies. Accountable for the identification of risks on time, cost, scope, and provides recommendations for corrective and improvement actions.
Responsible for controlling Turnaround budgets by conduct regular cost analysis and reporting to track TA expenses and provide accurate forecasting. Develop and implement required Turnaround Management business process and procedures and document interfaces with key stakeholders in the VG/CPLNG organization. Accountable for development, review, completion and submittal for approval of each of the Turnaround Gate process deliverables. Accountable for the Turnaround contracting process and strict adherence to VGLNG Business controls. Responsible for the optimization of Turnaround resource allocation to meet Turnaround requirements, considering labor, equipment, materials, and main contractors and subcontractors.
Accountable and responsible for the preparation of comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation for senior management, highlighting Turnaround status, key milestones, performance metrics, and any deviations from planned objectives. Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation for audit purposes. Serves as “conflict resolution” interface between Contractors, Third parties and VG. Serves as SME and supports Turnaround team for the development of execution work packs under their area of responsibility. Responsible for drive a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices, implementing lessons learned, and leveraging innovative technologies and methodologies. Seek opportunities to enhance Turnaround processes and optimize operational efficiency. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
This job requires a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Controls, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering field and 10 years of work experience in any occupation involving Commissioning, Start-Up, Operations, and Maintenance in LNG facilities. Must Have The Following Prior ExperienceDeveloping and implementing department/organizations including Maintenance Department, including process, procedures, competency and training. Developing and implementing business process (BPM), including CMMS/ERP systems (SAP) process and procedures. Developing and implementing contracts, including GE LTSA and Major contracts for Maintenance execution. Experience with LNG regulatory requirements, including 49CFR193, NFPA59.
Experience with Work Management in LNG facilities, including multiple phases and large-scale operations. Developing and managing budgets, resources, and timelines while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Experience using tools and techniques for planning, scheduling, and executing Turnarounds, including critical path method (CPM) scheduling, resource optimization, and risk assessment. Managing and supervising multi-disciplinary teams, including contractors, vendors, and internal staff. Experience in SAP Plant Maintenance as “End User” level, implementation & configuration. Job also requires certification or training in each of the following: Current or prior Project Management PMI/PMP/PMBOK/Advanced Project Management training or certification.
Current or prior Primavera P6 training or certification. GE Gas Turbines (MS7001 B and MS9001 B) training or certification. Current or prior Risk Assessment & Management – Technical Level training or certification. Current or prior TapRoot Root Cause Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis training or certification50% domestic travel required.
