Are you our new Vessel Manager? We are looking for a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team as Vessel Manager. As Vessel Manager you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vessels, all while collaborating with a team of experts, pioneering excellence, and charting new horizons. Join us in setting the standard for maritime excellence!Responsibilities:In this position, your responsibilities include ensuring that DOF vessels always follow the rules, overseeing inspections, and preventing technical problems. You will monitor how our vessels are doing and take quick action if something isn't right. Another important aspect of your job is to make sure our vessels receive proper maintenance to avoid unexpected issues that could cause downtime. Communication is key, as you'll be the person to turn to for technical matters on land and handle interactions with clients when necessary. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure our vessels and fleet perform at their best.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Maritime Studies or equivalent experience as Chief Engineer or Master onboard offshore vesselsRelevant experience in an engineering capacity onboard Offshore VesselsExperience from ship management or technical operationsPreferably 3 or more years' experience in similar positionIndependent and service minded with good communication and cooperation skillsFluent English, both oral and written. Scandinavian language is an advantageMust be eligible to live and work in Norway. The position is on local terms without any relocation support. Workplace is Bergen or Storebø.
