Your JobVetting AnalystOur TeamThis role supports vetting for both tanker and dry vessels. It is critical to ensuring safety, compliance, and operational integrity across Koch business units. The vetting Analyst will collaborate closely with internal divisions and external partners to assess vessels suitability, manage SIRE inspections process, and unfold our marine assurance standards.What You Will DoVessel Vetting & ScreeningAssess vetting reports including ship condition, operation history, crew qualifications, and sanctions compliances with international regulations.Apply company-specific vetting criteria and standards.Monitor sanctions compliance.Identify and communicate potential risks associated with vessel engagements.Ensure compliance with IMO, OCIMF and internal safety standards.Inspection CoordinationSchedule and manage SIRE inspections with inspections companies and vessel operators.Review inspection reports and apply company specific criteria.Analyse inspection findings and ensure timely feedback and close-out.Liaise with inspection agencies and vessel operators. Data & Systems ManagementUse vetting platforms to manage data.Maintain vetting site and internal records updates.Maintain detailed records of vetting decisions and inspection outcomes. Cross- Functional CoordinationCollaborate with Koch’s tanker and dry bulk operations teams.Assist with third-party terminal vetting coordination.Represent the company in industry forums and working groups.Maintain detailed records and prepare reports for internal and external partners.Operational supportProvide 24/7 vetting support as part of an on-call rotation.Support invoice tracking and follow-up.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Several years sea-going experience on tanker vessels.Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).What Will Put You AheadExperience as a chief mate in chemical or tanker vessels.Prior Ship vetting experience.At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
