Job Description

Vice President of Institutional Sales.We are partnering with an Alternative Investment Fund based in the DIFC to identify their VP of Institutional Sales covering the GCC.Roles and Responsibilities:Develop and execute sales strategies based on the available products and services of the Firm, targeting institutional investors, family offices, HNWIs, sovereign wealth funds, and others.Build and maintain a strong network of investors in local, regional, and international markets.Maintain and expand relationships through regular engagement, roadshows, pitch meetings, and thorough due diligence.Work closely with Investment bank and fund management teams to understand products and services, performance, and risk profiles, in order to craft sales propositions and pitch materials.Collaborate with marketing, legal, and compliance teams to create sales collateral, ensure compliance in client onboarding, sales communications, and marketing materials.Monitor market trends, investor appetite, feedback, and adjust strategies accordingly. Identify new investor segments or geographies.Manage sales pipeline, forecasts, and budgeting. Track progress vs targets. Provide regular reporting to senior management.Negotiate terms with investors, handle structuring where needed, and ensure successful closing of investment/subscription agreements.Oversee client relationship management post-investment, ensuring investor satisfaction, retention, and possible cross-selling of other services.Lead efforts in capital introduction, sourcing co-investment opportunities, and partnerships with platforms.Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in finance, an advanced degree (MBA, Master's).Significant experience in institutional sales or capital raising in the asset. management/private equity/investment funds/alternative investment space.Strong track record of raising sizable amounts of capital from institutional and/or family office investors.Deep networks in the region, including the GCC, and possibly Asia/Europe.Strong commercial acumen, with a solid understanding of fund structures, performance metrics, and risk compliance.Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to pitch complex financial products.Experienced in managing sales/IR team; capable of coaching and building high performance.Experience working in boutique investment banks (fundraising + product knowledge, + investor relations).Note: Please follow our Binding Partnerships page to stay informed about our latest positions and updates.
