You will network, develop and secure new business opportunities from the region’s institutional & private wealth channels.Your Responsibilities Will Be ToTravel frequently within Sweden and occasionally internationally to meet clients, attend industry events, and fulfill the demands of an active sales pipeline. Foster a high-performing, collegial working relationship within the team, contributing to an inclusive and collaborative environment. Position Hamilton Lane as a key player in private markets across Sweden by driving new business development efforts with institutional and private wealth investors, including SMAs and investment products. Demonstrate a hands-on, self-driven approach to sales and relationship-building, leveraging your deep passion for private markets to build lasting client partnerships. Organize and lead roadshows and client events throughout Sweden, managing time-critical sales processes such as researching new investors, conducting cold calls, and coordinating RfIs/RfPs. Guide onsite due diligence meetings, deliver finals pitches, and oversee the successful onboarding of new clients. Make positive contributions to RfI and RfP proposals and presentations, ensuring a high level of professionalism and detail. Represent Hamilton Lane as a senior spokesperson in Sweden, displaying exceptional judgment and private markets expertise at conferences and in media interactions. Must-havesYour background will include:5+ years of experience in institutional sales in a regulated financial services company Swedish native speaker, fluency in English Must be exceptionally well connected with institutional investors, asset managers and investment consultants and can demonstrate a track record of results in the region An understanding of private markets (private equity and private credit) would be an asset. Must have excellent presentation skills and experience working with a variety of client types. Must have a winning personality and excellent communication and attentive listening skills Must be well organized and deadline focused, pursue excellence in what you do, be proactive and able to comfortably interact with clients, prospects and consultants Ability to understand and develop a working knowledge of proprietary systems and software University degree (B.A., B.S. or B.B.A.).
