Job Description

As Vice President of Expenses / Client Accounting, you’ll lead end-to-end fund expense operations across a varied portfolio, covering budgeting, invoice oversight, accruals, reporting, and controls. The role involves guiding a team, partnering with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, and strengthening processes through technology and continuous improvement.You’ll manage vendor relationships, ensure regulatory and fund-level compliance, drive accurate forecasting, support audits, and contribute to system and workflow enhancements that keep the expense function operating to a high standard.Ideal background:Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a professional accounting qualification considered beneficial.10+ years of progressive experience in expense management or financial reporting/fund accounting, including hands-on involvement in expense processes.Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support teams with varied professional experiences.Practical understanding of workflow platforms and automation tools used for invoice and budget management.
