Senior Software Engineer (Lead)

Stelfox is partnering with a B2B SaaS / Digital platform provider in Dublin City, who is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer with the ability to take the lead on product/project initiatives with core enterprise customers that rely on their B2B Digital platform.What you’ll be doing:Developing solutions for clients to benefit from their B2B Digital Platform! You will act as a SSE / Lead dev for one of our agile engineering teams for customized customer solutions. Core responsibilities:Build software components that are robust, reliable, testable and easy for other developers to understandLead a team to implement customer requirements in one of our modern tech stacks (Java, Spring Boot, Container, Kubernetes / TypeScript, Node, AWS Serverless)Be a vocal contributor to our software architecture, as well as how we work (DevOps/CI/CD) and our technology strategyDefine software requirements together with the Product OwnerImprove and further develop internal development processes and tools used by our development teamsContribute to creating a team culture of transparency, growth, inclusiveness and collaboration.What you bring to the role:Third level qualification in Computer Science or equivalentYou are a seasoned software engineer with at least seven years of experience. You have deep expertise in Java and the Spring Stack, practical knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes, and a proven ability to build and manage robust CI/CD pipelines.You have experience working in an Agile environment, with a focus on continuous improvementYou desire to build great software products and a strong focus on results i.e. getting things done, including a high degree of initiative, reliability, determination and willingness to learn.
