Upcoming releases include Citadel Season 2 and Marvel Studios’ epic Avengers: Doomsday (2026) and Avengers: Secret Wars (2027), both directed by the Russo Brothers and produced by AGBO.About The RoleAs a key member of AGBO’s Finance team, the VP, Finance will lead corporate financial planning and analysis, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning to drive alignment across the organization. In parallel, this role will directly support financial and strategic planning for AGBO’s filmed entertainment slates (including Film, TV, Universe, VP&A), Innovation, and Interactive to develop business and financial strategies that enable creative and commercial success.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & StrategyLead the preparation and consolidation of the annual corporate budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and accountability across all functions.Deliver financial insights and analysis to support executive decision-making, capital allocation, and investment strategies.Partner with the CFO and Business Unit leaders to develop financial strategies aligned with AGBO’s creative and operational goals.Collaborate closely with Corporate Strategy to align financial plans with long-term growth priorities, strategic initiatives, and investment opportunities.Drive strategic modeling for new ventures and partnerships within AGBO’s evolving IP and content ecosystem.Champion the modernization of financial processes, driving efficiency within FP&A.Enhance data visualization and analytics capabilities to enable faster, data-driven decision-making.Business Partnership & PerformanceBuild, analyze, and maintain detailed corporate, business unit and project level financial models to monitor performance across filmed entertainment and Innovation.Partner leadership to develop business and financial strategies that align creative ambition with commercial outcomes.Review and monitor producing agreements to ensure timely receipt of contractual payments, including fees and reimbursable costs.Evaluate and model financial performance of projects, slates, and franchises.Provide financial guidance on deal structures, and new content or partnership opportunities.Track and analyze company and BU performance versus budget and forecast, providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations.Prepare executive-level presentations and dashboards summarizing key performance metrics, trends, and insights for senior leadership and the Board.Partner closely with Accounting to align planning, reporting, and operational results, ensuring data integrity and timely insights.LeadershipLead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals fostering professional growth, accountability, and excellence.Champion AGBO’s culture and values of collaboration, compassion, and innovation, enabling a supportive, high-performing team environment.Qualifications & Skills15+ years of progressive experience in finance, strategy, and/or corporate planning, including at least 5 years in leadership roles overseeing FP&A or related functions within entertainment, media, or similarly dynamic creative industries.Proven track record of serving as a strategic business partner to leadership.Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance management.Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with experience presenting to senior executives and boards.Strong leadership presence and ability to balance creative vision with financial stewardship.The typical base salary for this position ranges from $200,000- $260,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
