Vice President (Manager) / Asst Vice President (Asst Manager) - ICS Security, Rapid Rail

Job PurposeResponsible for securing, monitoring, and analyzing operational technology systems critical to railway operations. This role involves protecting signaling, communications, and monitoring infrastructure against cyber threats by performing threat detection, incident investigation, and risk assessments in ensuring reliability, availability, and safety of rail services including managing risks and ensuring adherence to railway OT Security standards and regulations.Key AccountabilitiesLead & oversee the monitoring, detection, and response to cybersecurity threats targeting OT control systems critical to rail operations.Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential security risks within OT environments.Manage and coordinate the investigation of security incidents affecting OT systems, ensuring timely containment, remediation, and root cause analysis.Ensure that all OT security activities comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., IEC 62443, ISMS, TS 50710) and regulatory requirements specific to rail systems.Develop, implement, and maintain OT-specific cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures aligned with enterprise security frameworks and rail safety regulations.Evaluate and deploy OT security tools and technologies that enhance visibility, threat detection, and protection of critical rail infrastructure.Update with emerging cyber threats, industry trends, and best practices to continually improve the security posture of OT environments.Qualifications, Skills & KnowledgeBachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or equivalent.Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Cybersecurity, with at least 4 years focused on Industrial Control Systems (ICS) or Operational Technology (OT) Security.Proven experience leading Security teams and managing OT Security programs, preferably in transportation, urban rail, or critical infrastructure sectors.Strong leadership and team management capabilities.Attention to detail and thoroughness in monitoring, analysing, and documenting security events and controls to maintain the highest standards.Hands-on experience with key urban rail ICS technologies such as signalling, SCADA, CBTC, and related communication systems.Deep knowledge of ICS/OT protocolsExperience with OT network segmentation, firewall management, and secure remote access solutions.Familiarity with threat detection and incident response tools tailored to OT environmentsUnderstanding of relevant cybersecurity frameworks and standards applicable to rail and critical infrastructure.
