We will empower you to lead, develop deep expertise, and find new approaches to solving the toughest challenges. Position OverviewThe U.S. Chamber of Commerce is seeking a collaborative, execution-focused Vice President of Marketing to partner with the Marketing Leadership team to shape and deliver the Chamber’s marketing strategy. This role will co-develop strategic plans with the SVP and lead day-to-day execution to enhance the Chamber’s brand, drive member engagement, and support the organization’s mission to advocate for policies that promote business growth, innovation, and job creation. The ideal candidate will lead a team of marketing professionals and collaborate closely across member relations, communications, digital, and events to translate strategy into integrated, impactful campaigns.ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Marketing Leadership team to co-develop the Chamber’s marketing strategy and translate enterprise priorities into actionable plans and roadmaps.Lead the execution and operationalization of integrated marketing campaigns that support member engagement, advocacy efforts, and organizational priorities.Co-create campaign briefs and oversee implementation across channels (e.g., digital, events, content, and paid/owned/earned), ensuring alignment with core messaging and brand standards.Lead the development and optimization of digital marketing programs, leveraging data-driven insights to improve targeting, performance, and reach.Collaborate with internal partners—including communications, government affairs, and membership—to ensure alignment, consistency, and coordination in messaging and branding.Manage the marketing budget to maximize impact and ROI through the efficient allocation of resources.Oversee the production of marketing materials, including digital content, print collateral, and multimedia assets, to support Chamber initiatives.Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and agencies to expand capabilities and capacity.Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing clear reporting, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.Stay current on industry trends and best practices to help ensure that the Chamber remains at the forefront of marketing innovation.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role—preferably within a membership-based organization, advocacy group, or similar environment—with a strong track record of leading execution in partnership with senior strategy leaders.Deep understanding of digital marketing, branding, and content strategy, with a data-informed approach to decision-making.Exceptional leadership and team management skills and the ability to inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated success collaborating across diverse teams and stakeholders.Demonstrated budget stewardship and the ability to deliver measurable results.Strategic thinker and hands-on operator who excels at translating strategy into plans, programs, and outcomes.Familiarity with the business and policy landscape is a plus.The salary range for this position is $173,774.00 to $225,000.00, with the possibility of additional compensation through a discretionary bonus. The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors.
