ResponsibilitiesJob TitleVice President of Business DevelopmentReporting ObjectChief Revenue Officer (CRO)Position OverviewThe Vice President of Business Development is responsible for developing new markets, new customers, and new partnership opportunities for the company, comprehensively formulating and driving the business growth strategy. This role is dedicated to identifying and expanding revenue streams, establishing key business partnerships, and driving the company into new markets and sectors. Furthermore, the role optimizes customer acquisition and strategic sales pathways, providing strong support for the company's sustainable growth.Main Responsibilities1. Business development strategy formulationFormulate the company's mid- to long-term business expansion strategy, identify and capture industry growth opportunitiesAssess market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, and drive the exploration of new business modelsCollaborate with senior management team to ensure business development direction is aligned with company strategy2. New Customers and Market ExpansionLead new customer acquisition efforts to expand into key industries, regions or customer groupsEstablish and execute new market entry strategies (e.g., regional expansion, industry penetration)Optimize the front-end strategy of the sales funnel to increase the conversion rate of potential customers3. Strategic Cooperation and Alliance ManagementIdentify and establish strategic partnerships (channels, alliances, joint products, etc.)Negotiate and sign key business agreements to achieve win-win growthManage existing partnerships to enhance the depth and benefits of cooperationIV. M&A Opportunities and Business InnovationIdentify and evaluate external expansion opportunities such as mergers and acquisitions, investments, and joint venturesCollaborate with corporate strategy, legal, and finance teams to drive transaction progressPromote business model innovation, platform opportunities or cross-border growth attempts5. Team Building and Performance ManagementEstablish an efficient business development team, including sales development, channel development, strategic cooperation positions, etc.Develop and manage team KPIs, including number of new customers, cooperation conversion rate, revenue contribution, etc.Improve the team's customer communication, negotiation, solution formulation and execution capabilities6.
