Position Overview AFN is seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Vice President of Food Service Sales & Business Development to lead strategic growth across the fine dining, hospitality, and international food service sectors. This individual will be responsible for building and expanding AFN’s relationships with white-cloth restaurants, high-end resorts, boutique hotel groups, culinary institutions, and luxury hospitality brands. Key Responsibilities Strategic Sales Leadership Develop and execute a multi-channel food service sales strategy targeting premium restaurant groups, resort properties, and high-end hospitality operators in the U.S. and abroad. Drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships, menu integrations, and brand collaborations with top chefs and culinary directors. Lead, mentor, and expand AFN’s national food service sales team to ensure alignment with corporate growth and profitability goals. Business Development & Partnerships Identify, negotiate, and close new business opportunities with national and international distributors, hotel groups, and fine-dining chains. Build long-term strategic alliances with executive chefs, purchasing executives, and hospitality brand decision-makers. Develop co-branded or private-label initiatives that reinforce AFN’s premium brand position. Market & Product Strategy Collaborate with operations, marketing, and production teams to design food service programs tailored to chef-driven restaurant groups, resort chains, and export markets. Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activity to inform new product development and pricing strategy. Support innovation in portion control, packaging, and menu applications suitable for luxury and boutique culinary environments. International Growth Expand AFN’s footprint in international food service and hospitality channels, including export partnerships with luxury hotels and cruise lines. Navigate trade, tariff, and certification requirements in international markets to ensure smooth and compliant distribution. Required Qualifications Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in food service sales and business development, specifically within white-cloth restaurants, luxury hotels, and high-end hospitality groups. Deep understanding of premium beef, protein sales, and food distribution networks. Proven track record of achieving sales growth through high-value relationship management and brand positioning. Willingness to travel extensively (domestic and international) to maintain and expand high-value relationships. Strong international sales and export experience in food service channels a major plus. Experience at or with Creekstone Farms, Niman Ranch, or equivalent premium beef suppliers highly preferred. Skills & Attributes Executive-level communication and negotiation skills with C-suite buyers, chefs, and hospitality executives. Ability to build long-term trust with discerning culinary partners who value quality, provenance, and sustainability. Entrepreneurial mindset with a disciplined approach to pipeline development, forecasting, and sales analytics.
